PepsiCo offers K - 12 schools a wide range of beverages to nourish and hydrate students of all ages. All PepsiCo beverages for schools meet guidelines developed by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation - a joint initiative of the American Heart Association and the William J. Clinton Foundation. • Not to offer full-calorie soft drinks for Elementary, Middle or High School students
• To offer sports drinks for High School students only and only in 12 oz or smaller sizes
• To offer only water, juice and milk for Elementary and Middle School students

In addition to meeting the Alliance guidelines, all PepsiCo beverages for schools must comply with federal and state laws. Since state laws vary widely, we've created product lists for each state to help schools and parents know what's available. Individual schools may also have their own nutrition guidelines, but this is a good place to get started.

Nutrition guidelines for public schools in 18 states are stricter than the Alliance for a Healthier Generation guidelines followed by PepsiCo. PepsiCo's Master List of products for schools has been modified for these states, specifically: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia
